High Precision

The precision of machines is proved by international standards, defined procedures and defined measuring methods. The straightness and the angular deviation greatly influence the 3D accuracy.

High precision equivalent to 3D measuring instruments

Even a top-quality high-precision machine has positioning accuracy of
5 μm. DIXI Machines boast accuracy of 1/5 of that at 0.99 μm, which matches the precision of 3D measuring instruments.

Positioning & repeatability (ISO 230-2)


We move the Z-axis with a measuring instrument mounted on the top of the table, and measure the positioning accuracy and repeatability at heights L1 and L2.


L1: Positioning and Repeatability

When we compare the accuracy at height L1 before and after scraping, DIXI machines achieve errors of less than 1 μm.


L2: Positioning and Repeatability

Although there is little difference in the positioning accuracy at L1,
by doing the scraping, DIXI achieves errors of less than 5 μm at L2.
