Business Collaboration with GILDEMEISTER AG (of Germany)
Outline of collaboration
Since we started our ollaboration in March 2009, Mori Seiki and GILDEMEISTER AG of Germany have been cooperating with each other, and we have continued and strengthened our work in tandem in areas including the integration of the two companies' sales centers, part supply, joint development, and providing financing for customers. As a result, we have established leadership in the global machine tool market. On the basis of this strengthened relationship in terms of capital, the two companies will continue to pursue greater levels of cooperation and expand their sales.

Sales and service: We are steadily expanding the geographic extent of our collaboration.
Joint exhibits at shows
The companies have staged joint exhibits at shows in every region of the world, and the rich lineup they offer has drawn the attention of the customers.
Development: A variety of OEM product projects in progress
Mori Seiki has added the DuraVertical 635 eco vertical machining center and the DuraTurn 310 V3 eco turning center, which have been manufactured on an OEM basis at DMG's plant in Shanghai, China, to its product lineup. Mori Seiki has started the OEM supply of the NTX1000 and NHX4000 from the X-class lineup. From here on we will be expanding mutual OEM supplies while also making progress with the joint development of new models.
Production: Making progress with standardization of parts
Mori Seiki supplies internal products such as turrets, motors and ball screws to GILDEMEISTER AG. We seek to improve the quality of the parts, and to provide a wealth of options at inexpensive costs.
Purchasing
Joint purchasing brings down procurement costs, and this enables us to set more affordable prices from the customers' point of view.
Finance
Through our subsidiary fi nance company, we offer customers who are thinking of
buying a DMG or Mori Seiki product the optimum support with fi nance.
