At JIMTOF2006, which was held at Tokyo Big Sight until November 8, Mori Seiki displayed many of the world's best high-precision, high-efficiency machines, packed with our cutting-edge technology. We were able to offer our customers the best line-up in the industry, including multi-axis machining centers equipped with DD (Direct Drive) motors for rotary control, the N Series with its incredible sales results, and the Dura Series, which was born from a new development concept. We were able to provide suggestions to meet all our customers' requests, using displays with machining demonstrations and DVDs showing the theme for each model, so that visitors could easily get a clear image of the machines' features.

We were able to hold many detailed discussions right from the first day of the exhibition. The machine which attracted the most attention was the NMV5000 DCG high-precision, 5-axis control vertical machining center. The number of customers in the parts machining industry who are leaning towards process integration using 5-axis machines is increasing, and we received many eager questions about the table specs, etc. There was also great interest in the new NZ2000 T3Y3, which was shown as a pre-release display, and there were always lots of people watching the machining demonstrations.

Every day many visitors came to the exhibition and the Mori Seiki booth, even though there was a 3-day weekend in the middle. It was a great success right up to the last day, and we're very grateful to everyone who took part.
