For this award, sponsored by the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun, the best 10 products with practical applications are selected from all those released each year, in order to improve the standard of technology in Japan. By dramatically reducing the number of parts and sharing units, the Dura Series, which consists of the DuraVertical vertical machining centers and the DuraTurn 2-axis CNC lathes, achieves low costs and excellent durability.
