The next generation compact machining center MILLTAP 700 won the Japan Machine Tool Builder's Association Award at the 2012 (42nd) Machine Design Award sponsored by the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun.
The MILLTAP 700 next-generation machining center realizes a compact body with a width of 1,650 mm while offering a wide machining area with axis strokes of 700/420/380 mm (X/Y/Z).
The machine also achieves a rapid traverse rate of 60 m/min. on all axes, which is the fastest in its class.
Featuring the maximum spindle output of 25 kW, more than twice as high as our conventional models, and the highly rigid construction, the MILLTAP 700 delivers outstanding milling performance.
